Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to website design and development services provided by cloud1337.

1. Website Packages

Our website packages are based on the number of pages, functionality and features stated in the selected package.

Launch – £199: Includes a single-page website with the features listed on our pricing page.

Business – £449: Includes a 3–5 page website with the features listed on our pricing page.

Growth – £995: Includes a 6–10 page website with the features listed on our pricing page.

Ecommerce – £2,495+: Includes ecommerce functionality and the features listed on our pricing page. Final pricing may vary depending on the number of products, functionality, integrations and other requirements.

Additional pages, functionality, integrations or services not included within the selected package may incur additional charges. We will discuss and agree any additional costs with you before carrying out the additional work.

2. Content and Images

Content writing included within a package covers the creation of reasonable website content based on information supplied by the client.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate business information, contact details, pricing, opening hours and any other information specific to their business.

Where client-supplied images, logos or other materials are used, the client confirms that they have the necessary rights and permissions to use them.

Stock images, photography, video, premium fonts, plugins or other third-party resources may incur additional charges where applicable.

3. Revisions

Our packages include reasonable revisions during the agreed design process.

The Launch package includes one round of revisions.

Additional revisions or substantial changes to an approved design may incur additional charges.

Changes that substantially alter the original agreed scope of the project may be treated as additional work.

4. Timescales

Launch websites can normally be completed within 7 days, provided all required information, content, images and approvals are supplied promptly.

Larger projects typically take 4–6 weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the project.

Timescales may be extended where we are waiting for content, images, feedback, approvals or other information from the client.

5. Domain and Hosting

Where included, domain registration and web hosting are provided for the first year at no additional cost.

Following the initial free period, domain registration, hosting and any associated services will be subject to the applicable renewal charges.

The client remains responsible for ensuring that renewal payments are made where they wish to continue using these services.

6. Business Email

Where included, business email is provided for the first year as stated in the selected package.

Email storage limits and other technical restrictions may apply.

Following the initial free period, continued email services may be subject to renewal charges.

7. Website Ownership

Once the website project has been fully paid for, the client owns the completed website content and design created specifically for their project, subject to any third-party software, plugins, themes, fonts, images or other licensed materials.

cloud1337 retains ownership of its own pre-existing tools, systems, templates, code, processes and intellectual property.

8. Payment

Payment terms will be agreed before work begins.

cloud1337 reserves the right to delay or suspend work where agreed payments have not been received.

The website will not be published or transferred to the client until all outstanding project invoices have been paid.

9. Website Launch and Approval

Before the website goes live, the client will be given an opportunity to review and approve the completed website.

Once approved, subsequent changes may be chargeable depending on the nature of the requested changes.

10. Third-Party Services

Websites may use third-party services, software, plugins, hosting providers, payment processors or other technologies.

cloud1337 cannot guarantee the continued availability, pricing, compatibility or functionality of third-party services where these are outside our control.

11. SEO

SEO services included within website packages provide foundational optimisation and setup.

No guarantee is made that a website will achieve a particular position, ranking or amount of traffic within search engines, as search-engine results are determined by factors outside our control.

12. Ongoing Support

Technical support included within a website package relates to reasonable assistance with the website and services provided by cloud1337.

It does not include unlimited website changes, new pages, new functionality, content creation or unrelated IT work unless specifically agreed.

Additional support, maintenance and website changes may be available under a separate support or maintenance arrangement.

13. Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for providing accurate information and ensuring that the website complies with any legal or regulatory requirements applicable to their business.

This may include privacy policies, cookie notices, accessibility requirements, trading information, terms of sale and other legally required information.

cloud1337 can assist with website implementation but does not provide legal advice.

14. Cancellation

If a project is cancelled after work has commenced, cloud1337 reserves the right to charge for work completed and any non-refundable third-party costs incurred.

Any refunds will be considered in accordance with the agreed payment terms and applicable UK consumer and contract law.

15. Agreement

By approving a website project or making payment for a website package, the client confirms that they have read and accepted these terms and conditions.

cloud1337 reserves the right to update these terms from time to time. The terms applicable to a project will be those agreed at the time the project is commissioned.
